About Peptiva

Peptiva is a research-supply company built around one idea: every batch should ship with the receipts.

Researchers ordering peptides online face a brutal trade-off — vendors with good prices often skip third-party testing, and vendors with rigorous testing usually charge institutional rates that price out independent labs. Peptiva exists to close that gap.

Every compound we ship is independently verified for purity by a third-party laboratory using HPLC and mass spectrometry. Every batch gets a Certificate of Analysis published in our COA library, with batch number, test date, and lot-specific results — so the data on the certificate matches the vial in your hand.

Why “Peptiva”

The name is a play on “peptide” + the Latin root vivere (to live, to thrive). The hexagon mark in our logo is the molecular shape every amino acid shares — a small visual nod to the chemistry behind everything we sell.

Where we operate

Peptiva is based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. All orders are picked, packed, and shipped from a single domestic facility — no drop-shipping, no overseas relay, no chain-of-custody guesswork. Every package is sealed in tamper-evident packaging and shipped from a US address with US tracking.

How we source

We work with peptide manufacturers that produce to research-grade specifications and provide manufacturer COAs alongside their shipments. Once a batch arrives at our facility, we send a sample to an independent third-party laboratory for HPLC and mass-spectrometry verification — before we publish it for sale.

This means:

  • The purity number on a Peptiva COA reflects an independent test run on a sample from the exact lot you’ll receive
  • If a batch fails our 99%+ purity threshold, it doesn’t get listed
  • If a discrepancy appears between manufacturer and third-party data, we hold the inventory until it’s resolved

Our testing standard

Every active research peptide we sell is verified to:

  • Purity ≥ 99% by HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography)
  • Identity confirmation via mass spectrometry
  • Lyophilization standard — supplied as freeze-dried powder for ambient-temperature shipping and long shelf life when stored per label

Our bacteriostatic water meets USP <797> and <71> sterility standards.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t make therapeutic claims. Nothing we sell is approved by the FDA for human or veterinary use, and we’ll never tell you otherwise.
  • We don’t ship internationally — domestic US only — to keep chain of custody clean and customs surprises off your invoice.
  • We don’t sell to anyone we have reason to believe is purchasing for non-research use.
  • We don’t carry compounds we can’t verify. If a peptide isn’t on our shop page, it’s because we couldn’t get COAs we trust.

Who we serve

Independent researchers, university labs, biotech startups, contract research organizations, and qualified scientific professionals across the United States. If you’re ordering for a research institution and need bulk pricing or a W-9, email support@peptiva.bio with the subject “Bulk Inquiry” and we’ll quote within two business days.

A note on regulation

The research peptide market is increasingly scrutinized by the FTC and the FDA, and we welcome that attention. Operating transparently — with real COAs, real sourcing, real testing — is the only model we believe is viable long-term. Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are intentionally direct about what we sell, who we sell to, and why.

If you’re a regulator, journalist, or compliance researcher with questions about our practices, please email team@peptiva.bio — we’ll respond.

What’s next

We’re a small operation focused on doing one thing well: shipping research-grade peptides with the testing receipts to back them up. Over the coming months we plan to:

  • Expand our published COA library as inventory turns
  • Add bulk and institutional pricing tiers
  • Open dedicated wholesale channels for university and CRO buyers
  • Publish reconstitution and storage protocols as educational content
